A sincere search deserves a safe one. These are gentle reminders to keep yourself, and your dignity, protected, from your first chaperoned message to meeting in person, Insha'Allah.
قُل لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَغُضُّوا مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِمْ وَيَحْفَظُوا فُرُوجَهُمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَزْكَىٰ لَهُمْ

Keep your wali and family close
Marriage is a family affair. Involve your wali and loved ones from the very first conversation. Their presence is a protection and a barakah, never an intrusion.
Stay chaperoned, stay on the platform
Every conversation here is chaperoned, with a moderator who can see the chat. Keep talking here until you and your families are ready. Avoid moving to private messaging too soon.
Meet in public, with a mahram
When it is time to meet, choose a public, respectable setting and bring a mahram or chaperone. Never agree to a private, one-to-one meeting.
Tell someone your plans
Always let your family know where you are going, who you are meeting, and when you expect to be back. Share your location with someone you trust.
Guard your personal details
Take your time before sharing your home address, workplace, financial information, or other contact details. There is no rush, and a sincere person will understand.
Never send money
Whatever the story, never send money, valuables, or financial help to someone you have met here. A request for money is the clearest sign of a scam. Report it to us at once.
Do your own checks, offline
We verify identity, we do not run background checks. Any further enquiries, references, and family background are yours to make, independently and offline, before you commit.
Trust your instincts, and report
If something feels wrong, that is reason enough to pause. You can pause, decline, or block at any time, and report any concern to our team. We will always take you seriously.
